I wasn't sure where to put this, so I thought I'd throw it up here.
Rich Blake made a drivable Model A Ford. pretty basic and the wheels aren't even animated.
But... the car does have attachment points front and back for pulling or pushing a cart, wagon etc... and it does have a "cab mode"
Would it be possible to eliminate those wheels by making them transparent
Then making an invisible 3ft gauge car with small spoked wheels to fit UNDER Rich's Model A. The shop built prototypes often used speeder wheels.
Basically turning it into a Model A 3ft railcar.
...or... would all this be more work then just making a new asset.
Like the prototype West Side, I use it a lot to "inspect the line", but it's a little rough with those rubber tires riding on the ties...LOL.
