as the list gets longer....

route builder
Hello All,

I am asking to find out if some of you veterans have figured out a way to do this, that I can't see:

I have only made a fraction of my route as yet, but already I have a considerable list of trigger checks, set signals, etc etc, in my session rules. I can only imagine this list getting reeeeealy long, as I build on.

The only place I can see these rules and setups, are in surveyor. And the window is only so big, allowing me to only view a few of them at a time. I'd like to have a list of what's in there, making things easier to find, and keeping track and order. Printing anything from within Surveyor is not an option (sigh) I know. I could and should probably start keeping a list somewhere else, like in a word doc.

But I was just wondering: Is this information listed somewhere else where I haven't thought of looking? Config.txt has no info of this sort, and the other files in the folder, mapfile.thisandthat, are files that I can't look into.

And while I'm on the subject, is there a limit somewhere, to how many trigger checks and stuff you can have in your session rules??

PS: Auran, can we pleeeeease have some printing options in the next version??

Jytte,

Have you tried making the window as big as your screen by clicking and dragging the lower edge down?

I'm a dragging and dragging, cause I thought it should be bigger, but the biggest it gets is less than half the screen height.

You should be able to drag any edge actually, I've done it just like in Windows. It is just when the window first appears that it shows the same size, but you should be able to resize it.

You can print the screen in Surveyor so take screenshots of a succession of your list sections and crop and print the .tgas that result. This should allow you see all your list.

In Surveyor, press [PrtScr], this puts the image in TRS200X/screenshots as a .tga file.

Cheers

Yes, narrowgauge, I thought of that too. It's just that as I'm changing same list many times a day, it would be too cumbersome to keep taking pictures.

I can resize the blasted thing, but only so much. Are you guys able to actually make it as big as the whole screen???

I guess I just stick to the good old on-the-side list, sigh.
