Don't know about improved. Logged in & told entered invalid etc. Checking what I entered and suddenly it decided to log me in. It is S_L_O_W

Cannot find the link to change the colors of this forum...
I did read something about it being at the bottom left of the screen ...
All I have seen at the bottom left is the changer for languages ...
These colors are bad on my monitor ...
Oh, here's the answer ...You may be able to change the styling of the board by using the style changer in the bottom left of the page. This lets you choose different skins which change the color scheme and appearance of the board.
If this option does not appear, the board cannot be restyled. JUST DANDY
Theme changing can only be done if the forum has other themes set up. This being N3V I would highly doubt they set up any other themes, and noting as to what they spent a week on doing to the forums here, I doubt you'd want to see any other themes if they had put the time into making them.
Most likely the reason the forums are so slow is sue to the high number of people using it. At the moment there is 220 people viewing the forums. The average for this forum (before the update) was around 50.

The improvements must have escaped me because I really don't see much improvement. The speed is still slow and the screen is much too bright. I don't like not having the DLS link because I used it quite often when someone announced that some new content had been uploaded. Also, I don't like not having the station list. How are we to see that someone has a registered version of Trainz? I don't guess that we have much choice in the matter though and we'll all get used to it in a matter of time. I didn't like losing support for legacy versions, especially uploading them to the DLS, and I'm not very pleased with this 'improved' version of the forum. Again, what has been improved?

Blog = a web log, like a diary, journal, log kinda thing.
I don't know how I feel about the forum, the white isn't bothering me too much yet.. But I miss the station stops to show what versions of Trainz people have registered
Blog feature is cool, but i've already got a blog/website for my Trainz route (Seen in sig). I may still use the forum blog if I do anything interesting though.. I see you can upload pictures straight to it? Where the hell are they going to store all these files?!

You can customize webpages ... and it is easily reversable in PC Tools/Use Windows Colors

If you mess up your colors/fonts ...I can help you get back to the default colors/font

Nice that the forum is back.
Unfortunately, the colors are too bright for my eyes. It's a headache to read more.

Sending the message now takes much longer. The forum is something felt slower.

My twopennyworth :- Light blue text on a white background isn't very helpful. A darker blue would help the text stand out better for us oldies, or alternatively a cream background colour. The pute white is a bit glary and looking at that colour for any length of time can be hard on the eyes.
So I ask N3V to reconsider those points please.
As far as the layout goes I am sure I would get used to that, change is always a bit awkward at first until we get used to them. I cannot say I have ever used the DS link from the forum so I personally do not miss it, but others plainly do. I simply take notes on paper of any points made and when I go to the DS use those to find whatever it is I need.
So in general not bad, but text is hard for me to read.

I'm now confused. I've seen a number of people mention having light blue text on a white background. All my monitors are perfectly calibrated for as-true-to color as they can get & I see no light blue text on a white background.
I'm also surprised to see so many people complaining about the white on the forums, yet I've never seen people complain about the white: Google, Facebook, YouTube (now changed), MS Office Suite, Windows Explorer, etc. Most of those listed are far more white then these forums.

Tout d'abord en tant que Français, nous sommes certainement oubliés...
alors que notre communauté francophone est très importante.( France, Belgique, Canada-Quebec, Suisse etc...)
Merci de faire le nécessaire pour que nous puissions apporter notre expérience au service de tous.
Des idées.
Il serait intelligent de créer une technique pour lier et fixer durablement les objets et réseaux (rails) sur les maps (routes). Comme des punaises colorées ou des clous ou agrafes virtuels. En effet nous avons souvent des objets qui "bougent"...
Aussi, une façon simple de remettre à jour les N° de KUID... (avec A-B-C-D par exemple...)
Et puis, à quand le TRAINZ MAC en français ?
