Article: TS12 SP1 Hotfix 1 now available.

I didn't disable Avast, I just told it to ignore the Trainz Drive, reboot first though otherwise it ignores the setting, no problems patching here, was so quick I missed it had finished.

Mines set to ignore the 3 drives I've got trainz on.

Mine is set to ignore my Trainz folders as well, although I do let it keep an eye on the rest of the drive in case I get any rootkits (although the temporarily disable protection option on my antivirus comes in useful when patching).

Why would it do this: Ready to install from local patch file.

Hi pdkoester, I'll send you a PM.

is it really patching?

I know, I know, first thing I usually do. Avast was running it in the sandbox.

Shane's correct. The patcher checks to see if there are any other patch files around and will move on to the continuing one if one exists. Because this is a manual patch, there is no further patch file to continue with.

Note that this only really comes into play with the autopatcher. Manual patches will not continue after each other.

hi,
im use win8 pro--have 2x TS12 versions on D/: , one is TS12 SP1 = D/:TS12, other pre-patch version is D/:....../TS12.
hotfix popup looks white screens without text. but i can klick to te correctly exe. then popup shows normal and i patch. its done ...:)

But hotfix dont solve the problems with some content. Carson car content: locos dont drive in CAB-mode, locos derailed if use 4-stall roundhouse. ..f.ex.
Now, for me the SP1 -story will end here. Maybe some CC will upgrade content. Each version we lose more locos and another content.
Sorry, i dont accept this. As a non-programmer i cant upgrade by myself. so i will keep good working TS12 without SP1...

regards ern

Just to add to Shane's windows explorer advice. Also check in tools that compatibility view settings is set for display all web sites in compatibility view (or add an exception for Auran.com).

Patch worked , took 10 minutes and I'm happy as it's sorted the problem with Pro train perfect2 content not working . Thanks N3V :)

Just patched it.... and took..... 3 mins... lol, fastest patch I've ever seen, I bet it was even faster than CCP or Square Enix.

Cheers.

Will the future Hot fixes correct the issue I am having with the sound dropping?

I have seen other posts about the same thing.

I just installed the patch - no issues with the install.

However, I still cannot run my updated A and SLT multiplayer session that shows to have no errors, yet comes up with the same old "some assets or dependencies..." error message.

Once again, any help would be appreciated - I just don't get it and it's beginning to get old.

this is a dam disgrace. first your service cripples most systems then your so called hot fix kills the rest ,good thing your programers don't work for a space agency !

I decided to update my Trainz last night... it turned into a nightmare for me! It caused my computer to Blue Screen during patching. So it corrupted my trainz system and had to uninstall and only just finished re-installing now.
The next job is importing about 80gb of content back in to trainz...
