Article: Nickel Plate High Speed Freight Set - Now Available

Some US locos on the DLS use the French animated cab ! And are quite happy with it ... but then again this is payware, and expect each and every detail to be perfect.

Of course if you want 100% perfection then it would probably be a lot more expensive, which is something to consider.;)

When there is a discount on this set?

It was just released. I do not see a major price reduction for a year and maybe only a 25% discount sale once in maybe 6 months.
As mentioned, I think there could be a chance to accelerate the price reduction if the SP1 (really SP2 IMHO) is not 100% fixed which would then foresee weak sales.

OK, about rivet counting. Maybe I am being overzealous with it, but I feel the research could of been easily found on the internet thus making my rivet counting points easy to complete on the mesh. As for the cab rivet counting, I see GAWPO50 view and reverse my perfection requirements on DLC Content as cabs from what I have read are not easy to do.

Did Ocemy really step up with major quality improvements on US Steam? Absolutely and leave it at that.

While this is a DLC Content and Always Will Remain as DLC Content, N3V needs to stop the DLC Content and instead have these items built for new versions whereas it attracts these new version purchases. There are way to many members who have expressed that purchasing any more future releases are extremely unlikely without major overhauls to quality of content and relinquishing old outdated built-in content with higher quality SpeedTrees and/or High Quality Vegetation, Splines, Rolling Stock, Buildings, and High Quality Engines. If this requires N3V Outsourcing, then so be it and elect a comity to choose these Outsourcing Content Creators.

On October 26th and 27th, restored steam locomotive no. 765 will operate a round-trip excursion between Fort Wayne and Lafayette, Indiana, retracing the route of the famous Wabash Cannonball passenger train.

Sponsored by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society in cooperation with Norfolk Southern Corp, the excursion will feature economy and coach class seating aboard vintage passenger cars. Passengers will enjoy a day long trip behind steam locomotive no. 765, lunch and layover in downtown Lafayette along the Wabash River, on-board entertainment, and more.

Visitors to the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society’s Open House this weekend at 15808 Edgerton Road, New Haven will be able to tour the locomotive up close.

Tickets will go on sale at 6:00PM EST on September 1st.

I'm not trying to put the model down. It's still is a great model, but wkwood is right. I'm a HUGE NKP 765 fan and I want the 765 to be a accurate as possible. Sorry about that. It's a weakness. I had to say something.

...Rivet Counting...
What is this the Lionel Hudson again lol:hehe: .

Sadly I have to admit I don't like the Payware part, you pay for an expensive game then you have to pay for expensive trains but they must be great. It might be better if they came in large packs, maybe on disks, then they could be Expansion Packs.

I'll be waiting for TRS 2014 :)

I found a free version of this for 2004, but it's not 2012 and probably not as detailed, plus it's only the loco and there's 4 different railroad names you can download if I'm right.
