Blackwatch
Not all of us have you beaut fast internet i know i dont. If you dont like the way i post the links fine thats you opinion and you entitled to it. But spare a thought for those that dont have the fast internet trying to read this thread and others. If you dont wish to click the link to view the pictures that is also you right too i post the links and leave it up to the individual to look or not look. As for the site its flickr run by yahoo i am guessing there are many users on here that use it.

The date is wrong, it was 8/17/09. Had a slight camera hicup. I love the narrow gauge.

Hadn't taken the car out of Vegas since I got it put together, so we put the top down and decided to cruise route 66 some on Sunday.... Had the wife drive so I could man the camera. Unfortunately the desert's dusty so of course it got in the camera.

Some of the set can be seen here - I haven't finished processing the film just yet
I used to live in Las Vegas once, i was born there!!

I'd not count myself as a railway photographer per se, though I certainly grab the odd shot when I'm out with the cameras and the chance presents itself - as here, when they were relaying the track on the line from Dundee to Aberdeen, which is just a couple of minutes down the road.

Andy :)
Hi Andy,

I know this is old thread and I only just decided to take a read, I remember when V/Line used R and K class loco's on there daily trains, in 1993-1995 while I was still a kid I would go to Corio Railway Station "was a 15 min bike ride" and on School Holidays it'll be R 707 running every day passenger trains for 2 weeks and randomly it'll be a K or R class running a Goods from North Geelong to Spencer St Goods yard, I miss those days.

Cheers.

A Better Pic Of 502 With A Close Friend Of Mine's Dad Who Is Into Trainz, I Will Not Give His Name, Standing On 502
His Family Also Took Some Pics And Tweaked Them Into Photo Negative, It Looked Prittey Cool

Standing Behind The Consist We See Joel Loading The Hoppers With His Loader
The Loader Is Just Barly Able To Reach The Top Of The Second Hopper
It Requires Him To Use A Ramp And Alot Of Skill When It Comes To Operations Of Equiptment

Here Is A Pic Of My Baby, The Napa Valley Wine Train High Rail Truck
I Stumbled Down The Ballast To Take This Pic And It Turned Out Great

Here Is One More Pic Of The High Rail Truck

Here We See Jerry Standing Next To The Truck Sipping Some Water On A Hot Agust Day
This Picture Is Special To Me Because It Is From My First Adventure On The Track Department
Here Is The Basic Back Story To That Adventure;
I Had Started Out In The Shops And I Never Did Like It
And That Day My Friend Did'nt Show Up But His Dad Did, And I Felt Kinda Weird Working Alone, Without Him
I Was Outside Scraping Some Copper Pipes For The Insides Of SN 652, And Joel Walks In With Jerry And Pete To Show Them Joel's Tamper
As Joel Made His Way Out I Asked Him If I Could Join The Track Department Because I Did'nt Really Enjoy Working In The Shops, He Simply Said, "Yea Sure, We Can Always Use An Extra Hand. Get Your Stuff And Hop In The Highrail"
I Grabbed The Pipes And Took Them Back Into 652, And I Ran Out And Hopped In, We Went North On The Mainline To Go Replace Broken Or Worn Joint Bars And Joint Bolts
And I Went That Day Without Lunch
My Parrents Were Gonna Bring Cupcakes And My Lunch To Lunch Time For My Birthday, But The Track Department Does Not Come Back For Lunch, So I |Went That Day Without Lunch, And Learned, Never Forget To Take Your Lunchbox, No Matter What.
Though I Didnt Eat That Day It Was A Day I Will Never Ever Forget
Jerry And I Came Back In The Truck Half Way Through The Day Because He Had To Use The Restroom, And I Got To Drive The Truck Safely Back To Where We left Joel And Pete, I Drove Home Aswell And Boss Man Said I Did Good
Here Is The Funny Part
After About 4-5 Meets For The Track Department And Me Driving That Truck, They Give Me The Manual How To Drive It
XD
Next Work Meet Is Next Weekend And I Will Be Posting Pics Of Work Next Weekend, If You Actully Read All This
Thankyou

Note All These Pics That Are Shown Above Were ALL Taken With My Phone
No Camera Involved
