Are you a rail photographer??

If I am not mistaken it is from the old SN bridge approach over the SP tracks going into Vacaville and Fairfield. Ether way judging by his pictures it is looking nice up in that area.

he beat me to it.

Yeah Stealth that is where I am, the old right of way into town.

If we want to talk about the location, let's show some photos

holy photo editing.... The pictures would look much better if the editing was turned down, also I hope you were not standing on the tracks to get that 1st picture!

Turned off, preferably. These cheesy effects are ghastly. Looks like he was Ryan but for a quick shot, once making sure it's safe (and the bulls aren't around) it's not really a biggie.

I can get unedited ones, I used that mode where it takes a million pictures in one shot. Also, if you notice that intermodal train is being lead by two geeps, 734 and 736(I think that was the second unit), not road loco's, look farther back in the picture and you can see a yard, the gates had just gone up and the train was backing in.

Took another trip out to Norfolk, this time the NPBL yard and Lambert's Point, next time I'm focusing on bridges so I can get the shots I need for bendorsey, he'll be making the bridges around Norfolk for me so I can make a route of the area in general, focusing on the NPBL and C&A.

NOTE: The last two are the same, I was just trying some focus effects on the camera.
NOTE2: Large and numerous shots.

A slug with dynamics...

Strange lamp in the middle of the ex-station now-yard-office parking lot anyone?

I can't help but mention that at work today I was able to see at least one locomotive from EVERY class 1 railroad (BNSF, Canadian Pacific, CN, CSX, Kansas City Southern, Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific) EXCEPT Union Pacific. I work on the north side of Dalton, Georgia and across the street from Norfolk Southern's mainline between Chattanooga/Knoxville, Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia.
