Are there freeware sites that have US steam locomotives? (2006 version)

Hi im looking for some freeware US steam locomotives that are compatible with 2006 version from other websites and some I downloaded are getting very old, please let me know. -Bryan

But since 2006 is getting quite old so is the content for it
Most newer content would be for newer versions

You might like to visit the TrainzProRoute site as they specialize in older content like 2004 and 2006 versions. Please note that you will have to register before downloading anything but it is free and you can use the same username and password (separate registration) for the forums as well!

Look at TPR I have uploaded a lot of steamers to there that are TRS2004/TRS2006 compatible, look at the links below for UK ones pages 1 -6 for others second link
