Are there figures of American cops with guns drawn available from DS?

I want a track-side scene of a bust.

How about swat teams with weapons?

This is a very touchy subject at the moment, as there have been numerous shootings including police. I, along with those in eastern Tennessee, northeast Alabama and northwest Georgia, are still trying to recover from the shootings in Chattanooga, Tennessee at several military-related locations. This resulted in several Army members, one of which was a veteran of Iraq and had a Purple Heart, and a police officer ending up dead.

Not only that, but remember what happened when someone posted a meme featuring a guy cocking a gun? There were a whole slew of posts about the backlash it caused, this being a family-friendly forum.

In the UK, cops don't have guns. Just obtain a search permit and knock politely. :hehe: On a serious note, the UK definitely has less serious crime than the US, so we must be doing something right! To answer the OP, I don't think there are any cops with guns on the DLS, TBH I like my Trainz worlds to be idyllic and crime-free except for the odd graffiti artist!

Thats because the British public don't generally have guns, the Americans do. I like living in the USA, except for the gun thing.
Just my 2 cents,
Mick Berg.

I agree totally. That "Right to keep and bear arms" thing in the US constitution was made in the late 1700's when people needed guns to hunt and defend their property in a basically lawless land. That, along with "Freedom of Speech" has been exploited greatly to the point that our forefathers would roll over in their graves if they knew how those freedoms have been abused. It's sad.

Why on earth would anyone need "American cops with guns drawn" in a Train sim???

Jeez, if you're into that crap, go play Grand Theft Auto.

Well said!

I've always thought that, but it's nice to hear an American say it.
Unfortunately, it's one of those things that's hard to undo once enough people want them (for some reason).
A real Pandora's box.

Brian.

Just one, of the dozens of examples: Baltimore riots 2015 ... etc ... etc ... The "Big One" is coming ... US Armed Forces on our streets enforcing Marshal Law !

Why do you think that they have been "prepping" us with the thousands of violent riot/cop shows on TV, for decades now ? ... Hmmm ?

Destimulize the mass's

That is really funny. Can we also have the NSA spying on an unsuspected public, some drones flying about, Planned Parenthood selling aborted foetuses so that they can buy Lamborghinis, Vets standing in queue to receive medical attention, some 99%ers on a march, some 1%ers snorting coke and politicians that lie when they open their mouths.

Actually, we need them now more than ever. Human nature hasn't changed in 224 years. If anything, humans - especially those in or seeking a position of power - have gotten far more efficient at killing each other.

Jeez, if you're into that crap, go play Grand Theft Auto.

The last thing we need is more kids training to do a real-life GTA. But, you're right about the "Freedom of Speech" thing being exploited greatly. Selling interactive killing simulators isn't what the founders intended to be "free speech."

Hmmm... Maybe tin-foil hats could made as attachments... I figure FEMA concentration camps could be kitbashed pretty easily...

Down here in Australia, it took a crazy gunman to slaughter 35 people and wound 23 others at an historic park site, for our Government to introduce national gun laws. This meant that only the Military and Police were permitted to carry arms in public. They introduced a "Buy-back" campaign over a set period of time, where people could surrender their arms, otherwise face prosecution. It worked, and the number of killings throughout Australia dropped. Sure, the 'bad-guys' will still import weapons and cause harm to a few people, but the law catches up with them at some stage with very heavy sentencing. Also in the UK, the Police don't carry a gun. There's a few lessons to be learnt here. Playing Trainz is better!

Just going out on a limb here then, but it looks like the answer to the OP's request is a resounding no.

Cheers

People here in Oz can still own and buy guns but they have to pass a strict police check first, have a very good reason for wanting one (I would love to be able to shoot the Brush Turkeys that wreck my garden but they are a protected species and wanting to shoot them would not be a justifiable reason in an urban environment), and be able to prove that the weapon is stored securely. Plus there are very strict limits on the types of firearms that citizens here can legally own.

But we still have "gun nutters" that want the right to be able to carry high powered military style firearms in public.

Apart from the military assets provided as flat car loads, keep weapons out of Trainz.

Why would there need to be such a thing in Trainz? It's like asking if there was the twin towers and a drivable plane in trainz. We don't need the stuff.

Trainz is good clean fun I want it to stay that way PLEASE no guns
As far as I know we here in NEW ZEALAND have cops with holsters that can get to hand guns if needed
otherwise we only have guns for hunting in the bush or for sport
like small bore shooting
I think NZ is a clean green safe country to live and to visit

God Bless New Zealand
