Apple Users: Problems with Monterey?

I just downloaded the Monterey OS for my MacBook, and upon attempting to play Trainz, trying to edit the trains on the route begins to bug out the game. The cursor will begin to move nonstop, the searchbar in the trains menu will not respond or trains cannot be placed down, and the only way to close the game is with a force quit. Is anyone else having this problem? I certainly wish I hadn't installed this new system.

Plenty of people with these problems. Monterey and Trainz don't like each other
