Im looking for an awesome american route that has alot to offer and looks good with my very complex locomotives and i need it to be free because i dont like to pay for stuff online, so does anyone know of a good route and how do i go about installing this route into my game/ content manager?

The first route I downloaded was on USLW (you must register there) ... it was the "NS Reading lines".

There are thousands of routes: http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php

"Down East Fishing Village" by GFisher is great, as well as "The Loops" (these are really high poly routes that need a hefty PC, to get good framerates).

EDIT: I keep forgeting to reccomend all the multitudes of Philskene's fantastic routes and sessions

Neilsmith749's UMR and davesnow's routes also come to mind. I don't know if all the dependencies are on the DLS though, but none are payware. Come to think of it, unlike some other sims, very few Trainz routes or sessions require any kind of payware.

I know how and where! But I'm not going to tell you. Instead, I'm offering advice - SLOW DOWN!

First thing you need to do is learn how to use a computer, or trade it in for a Nintendo. After that play the BASIC Trainz for a month, learn how to use the program, learn what everything does, make sure the game is working okay with all the built in stuff. AFTER that you can try downloading, installing and TESTING one thing at a time. You're headed for nothing but problems if you try to download anything now, since a lot of it doesn't work from the start and you'll need to take time out to learn how to fix everything. You're already having more trouble than you should with the basic game, if you start downloading routes before you're ready it will become hopeless. Slow down.

The UMR has all its dependencies on the DLS, as it was recently overhauled for use as a multiplayer route in TS12. Look for UMR-2013-SUMMER. For a LITE version, try UMR-2013-SUMMER-MULTIPLAYER. Sessions include the Blue Comet Gladston to Wawasee (requires Auran DLC Payware Blue Comet) and UMR-2013-SUMMER Multiplayer Session Ver. 3.1 (requires freeware TeamSpeak3 for optimal experience).

I know how to download and all the basics but i get confused sometimes that is why i come here to get assistance but when no one replies i tend to re make post about the same thing besides, i fixed the issue i was having took me a while to do it but i found out now, i was just simply asking an opinion and how to go about it and when it comes to a forum why not take advantage of the professional help?
