Anyone interested in making a couple of small steamers?

might be back?
I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in creating a few beautiful steam road switchers for my Philadelphia and Reading project. There is already have a 4-4-0 Camelback on the DLS that is quite good, but the rest of the wheel arrangements seem to be missing. If anyone is looking for something to do, I would really appreciate it if you give these a try.

Here are a couple of images of these beautiful engines in their hayday.

Those would make interesting projects, I agree, but I can't even make a flatbed, let alone a steam loco, let alone a camelback.

There's a Reading 4-4-0 camelback on the DLS. Strasburg has one just like that one in your pic, a 0-4-0 with sloped tender. It's been out of service for years, too light to pull long 9 coach trains. There's been talk about restoring it. If it is used again, on a revenue passenger train, they might have to bring a diesel switcher along to help out. Or maybe #31 or #89.

Yeah, I saw a pic of that little engine. I hope that it is restored. Also, I know about the one on the DLS. It is very nice.

I'd love to see a camelback in trainz..other than paul's :o

Yes, no offense to Paul, but your creations have much to be desired. I think that you are ahead of yourself making your creations payware, when the texturing, and other effects on your locos are less than freeware quality.

But thats just my opinion...

His British stuff isn't that bad, but I agree about the US steamers, or else I would have a T-1 by now. VMD made a pair of nice steam engines.

I also agree his British stuff is quite good (from what i can tell) but his US stuff has a lot to be improved and desired (also no offense to paul)

What I'd like to see is this:

That's a camelback 0-8-8-0!

Also jadebullet's suggestions would be welcome, I'd love to make an all-camelback railroad.
