Anyone have a cure for this?

I placed the Washer system by iceman2117 (<kuid2:164988:30002:1>) onto my map and rotated it 90 degrees. When I rotate it the hole that it cuts for the track remains in its original position it does not rotate with the washer. Anyone know how to cure this please? Otherwise it can only be used in one orientation. BTW if I move the item around on the board the hole moves with it - in its original direction, it does not correct itself.

I'm going to venture a guess because I've come across this sort of thing before; does this asset also happen to have a respective N-S/E-W version?

I'm going to venture a guess that you are right on this one. Maddy's coal unloaders have two versions for this very same reason. It is likely that it can only be used in one orientation.

F9 has no effect and I have searched both the DLS and CM and cannot find any other version of this item. So Im guessing there is something missing from the config file?

The easy answer would be to refill the dighole and put it in the right place. Is the a way to fill in the hole?

Otherwise I shall have to cover it up somehow.

Digholes don't rotate with the asset they belong to, and they move to certain positions only. You could clone the asset and remove the dighole entry from the config.txt. Use any of the manual digholes to create a dighole after rotation.

Hello to all,

I have had this in the past, and I found that after you have placed and rotated the item, which leaves the open dig hole, if you fly far away from that location and then go back to the location, the dig hole is gone, I don't know if it will work in Trainz 2012, but it has worked for me in Trainz 2010, it may be worth a try to see if this works.

If the above does not work, then maybe copying the land were the object will be, placing the object and rotating the object, and then paste the land only, without buildings and so on, just the land only may solve the problem.

Hope the above helps

Thanks guys. Using F9 did not work - neither did zooming out and in again. So in the end I resorted to cloning and removing the dighole. Thanks again for all the suggestions and help.
