I bought a FCT on the 2nd of this month. On the DLS it says activated. In my profile under FCT tickets it still says pending permission. Wrote the helpdesk but they are behind I hear so how do I activate my FCT or can I ? Thanks people....I want my FCT!

In content manager you will see your FCT logo. If activated it will show days left. If not r/click it and you should be able to activate it from there.

I'm running 2010 and went into CM but did not see any FCT logo. Where should it be? Thanks. Checked with helpdesk to see if my ticket has been answered but nothing yet.

Looks like your caught up in the backlog, try refreshing your profile. Thats what got mine working.

Hi There.
I have the same problem, I renewed my first class ticket two days ago, credit card has been debited and yet there is a message above purchase at Auran planet stating awaiting permission please check back later. An e-mail to the help desk brought and automated reply that someone will be in touch but so far nothing, and I have been unable to download anything in 2010, TC3, 2006 or 2004.

I have often said on the forums" don't get uptight with the problem it is only a game". However I certainly don't like it when people take money and then don't deliver the service they promise that makes it more than a game. Perhaps I should report the matter to my credit card company and let them investigate Auran's activities. They are one of the biggest bank in the world and they dealt very harshly with someone else who took money from my wife and I without providing the service.

It'll show up eventually...it takes several days...and possibly longer. Did you think it would be instantanious ? Haa :hehe: The only thing Auran did quick was 09 & 10

Hi Cascade.
Thanks for the reply. I remember renewing my first class ticket last year on the day it actually ran out and it just continued as normal with no interruption. That was when I was using TC3 and you could see at the top of the CDP how many days left you have on your ticket.

With 2010 that reminder on the download is no longer there so it ran out by two days before I realized it. Whether that is the basis of the problem I don't know. But I judge myself as a pretty easy-going person with lots of patience. However I really do not like it when people say they will do something or provide a service, take payment and then do not provide what they say they will do.

If you take your car in for service and then they say they have not finished it or further work needs doing you just hang on to the payment until they have done the work (as I have done in the past). However computer download services are one of the few areas where you have to put all your money up front and then hope people will provide the service or program. Something I feel needs to changing.

Anyway thanks again

FCT's will take effect when they get ready to take effect. I bought one about a month ago. My card was debited AFTER the FCT had been activated. The whole operation took just under ten minutes from order to using the FCT. YMMV.

Just checked my ticket status and Zec has fixed my problem and now my FCT is working. Glad to be able to DL again.

Hi There.
Wish I could say the same. Paid for my first class ticket five days ago now, still not able to to download, same message" server appears to be full please check back later". No response from helpdesk Despite putting in a ticket four days ago. Great service, don't think I shall be buying anymore from Auran after purchasing all their products since 2004.

Don't they realize what damage this sort of treatment of customers does.

Hi There.
Thanks for that red rattler, the information you gave in that posting could be very useful for me in the UK. As I said earlier on, I may put the matter in the hands of my credit card company who I found to have been very useful in a similar situation in the past.

I canceled the contract in exactly the way they stipulated with a website company about two years ago. The cancellation involved informing them by letter and by e-mail which is what I did. However, they still continued to take funds from my account after the cancellation date. I informed the credit card company and they really did go after them in a big way, asking me to sign a witness statement so they could take legal action against the company.

In that case it would seem that they had a number of complaints against this organization and so decided to take action. Perhaps the same thing could happen on this occasion.

I have also thought of phoning the company even though there could be a considerable charge for ringing Australia from the UK, but it could be worth it just to have a real go at somebody over the phone and see what they've got to say about their performance.

Think it would be worthwhile
