Anyone else having problems editing posts?

Hi Trainzers,

I thought I'd better ask first before trying to work out what's causing it.

For some reason, I'm unable to edit my own posts - where the entry box should appear with the existing text simply does not appear. In addition to this, replying does the same unless I change threads then return to the thread I am on.

I haven't been able to test it on other forums yet though.

I'm currently using Google Chrome (latest version) on Windows 7, but IE 11 is also refusing to let me edit posts, this time with an error message.

Anyone else had this happen?

My keyboard just went funky on me when replying to a thread in the KS section. Unable to copy and paste text and skipping letters. Let's hope it's not been hacked again...

I'm hoping not as well, as it seems to be a bit weird that it started happening yesterday and seems to have got worse today.

Thank you for your response though Vern.

Indeed I am! I'm cursing at the Trainz Forums site, I've been having troubles with it for a year or so.........Even now, the 'Reply' button has a circle going roudy-round............this is strange new activity (t me)!

I did notice that whilst typing a message sending a PM some of the letters just disappear and I have to go back where I typed and insert again.

Leksie - that's a simple issue to fix. Either turn on compatibility mode in your browser, or change your editor format via Forum Actions > Editor Settings.

I had this trouble a while back with funky keys and the rest, I first thought it was a problem with my Microsoft 2000 keyboard, that wasn't the problem.
The only way I got rid of it was to delete all the junk I've accumulated like aggressive toolbars, and delete things like java and adobe and all other programmes that were acting up. Now my posts are fine again.
PS I got rid of google chrome as well this is the only one I haven't reloaded back on to my computer yet, but that's not to say that that one is the culprit, it is more likely to be an add-on in Adobe if anything.
