Anybody got any idea what's going on with UKTS ?

Mechanical Engineer
Trying to log on, getting stupid error messages, tried registering new account, my ID is still recognised but not my password, tried the "I forget my password", all that does is throw up a 404 "site not found".

Has the site folded or has it been hacked ?

Just checked, same problem here as well, probably the login server is down.
 
I think it folded due data base corruption and the near impossibility of getting it back together.
Something similar to that.

I'm not 100% certain on my info, but if it was the group with (chilean llama) as his user id , Rosworth vale, yes its gone.
I've just got on the site so I'm wrong.

UKTS != Uk Trainz forums

And the UK Trainz Forums have basically been replaced by the 'British Trainz' forums.

If UKTS went under, I think it'd be a bit bigger news, and there would be rejoicing by several people here :D

Another Railworks and UK TRainsim fan:( Where are you people comming from. Remember this is a TRAINZ forum not RAILWORKS if you have a problem with UKTS take it up with them!! or another bloody Railworks forum not a TRAINZ forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The less Railworks fans the better!:(

The forum is a community and as such we come here to chat, spread news, ask and solve problems and just make friends. I have seen threads here about virus attacks, YouTobe train videos, births, deaths and marriages and when a disaster strikes aorund the world we all join together to send our good wishes.

If someone wants to come here to ask about another sim they are welcome to do so, many Trainz fans use Railworks and MSTS but that doesn't mean that their opinions need to be excluded (and before you even think about having a go at me I only use Trainz and have not even tried any other rail sim because I am happy with what I have got)

Asking mods to lock this thread just because in your opinion it doesn't have a place here is nonsense. This evening I responded to a thread asking for help on clearing the cache in IE8....should we lock that one too ??

Believe it or not, you may not like the site, it's not my favourite place either but there is Trainz stuff over at UK Trainsim for download albeit not much so it is not off topic.

I don't even own a copy of Railworks, Im a 100% Trainz man, and I think you will find that quite a few of the British Trainzers who frequent these boards, also post on UKTS, it's not against any laws to use multiple forums for ones hobby. :p

Doncha ya just hate noobies who think they know it all. :hehe:

You calling me a newbie and you only got trainz2004 and utz?!
And hardly anyone from Trainz ever posts on UKTS

It was only a little joke and as I've been reading these forums it was very minor considering all the hatred these trainers has for Railworks maybe I was taken up with it all. All the hatred that is BUT of cause I'm a noobie and not aloud to have an opinion like everybody else. Ever heard of double standards the last 3 posters should know about that ! Btw I know of three post that has been locked because they mention railworks and the the last 2 were just asking the question about downloading stuff for railworks and the mods lock it
. So double standards and also it seems us NOOBIES are not welcome here.:(
