Crabby Old Geezer
A High-Hood SD70ACe. Wonder what the deal is here?

I've checked two other websites that I have as my favorites that have people post their pictures of trains on, and the picture you show is obviously photoshopped, here's why:
1. The numberboards above the windows are all white, while on the prototype, the white is shaped like an oval, with black surrounding the white.
2. The front of the nose does not have grab irons going all the way up the front of the nose.
3. The black on the side of the 'modified' hood is darker compared to the rest of the side.
4. The color of the part of the cab you can see is not as dark as the rest of the body.
5. The white above the cab is also not not the same tone of white as the white on the rest of the locomotive.
6. There is only one windshield wiper, while on the prototype it has two windshield wipers per windows.
And of course, the biggest give away:
7. #1065 IS THE SAVANNAH AND ATLANTIC HERITAGE UNIT! NOT A 'REGULAR' NORFOLK SOUTHERN SD70ACe!

The base photo of 1065 could have been taken before it was a heritage unit. To my knowledge, they decided to make heritage units, and took ones out of the existing locos to be repainted.

No, the locomotive you're talking about is ES44AC #8025, the Monongahela heritage unit. It was built in September of 2010 and was repainted into its heritage unit colors in June 2012. Before that it became a heritage unit, it was painted in the black-and-white colors every other Norfolk Southern's locomotive wears. All the SD70ACe's delivered from EMD to Norfolk Southern in their heritage unit colors. ES44AC #8114 was already built and was going to be delivered later in 2012, but it was delivered early to become the 20th heritage unit.

Clearly a photoshop. I can tell for several reasons: First, you can see the "High-hood" has been drawn around the over the cab headlight. The numbers on NS 1067 seem a bit phony for it to be real. I don't think the real NS ACe's have the numbers on the back of the ACe's looking that cartoony. Next, NS 1065 is a heritage unit and was delivered as NS 1065 SD70ACe Savannah and Atlanta. The ones that people are thinking of are the UP ACe's which were all carrying the common flag scheme before becoming the UP Heritage units. The 0 in 1065 seems a bit large to be real as well. It looks to cut-off at the 6 because of the large size which I know for a fact is not the case with NS running numbers as I have seen them before in person. The Norfolk Southern on the side is crooked, letting me know that somebody did a crappy logo pasting job LOL! Also we can't forget that NS 1067 is the Reading Heritage unit.

Sorry, but i refuse to trust a pic from DeviantArt, of all places. It's photoshopped.

Evidence:

1. Look at the number of the other SD70ACe. Seems a little...off to me.
2. The actual hood itself is the exact same color everywhere on it. Plus the side of it is almost all completely black.
3. As Jordon said, #1065 is the S&A heritage unit.

Hope this helps identify the faker.

Another dead give away is the rubber seal around the windshield. See how it just goes straight in behind the high hood instead of curving back down like it does on the left side. Like has already been said BUSTED.
