If you mean the one at Clarksville, Indiana yes - I can make that. All it takes is photos and info.

1. Overall length.
2. Length of the different type spans.
3. Height above the water.
4. Width.
5. Number of tracks.
6. Photos showing the overall span, individual spans, piers, and ends.
7. Is it open deck (you can see the water between the ties) or closed deck (you can't).

Get the info here soon enuff and I might be able to get it on the DLS before doomsday, lol.

At the time it was built, it was the longest iron bridge in the United States, with its 27 spans covering a total mile. It was to have a minimum span length of 330 feet (100 m), but the spans were of 352 and 380 feet (107 and 116 m).

According to "Railroads of Indiana" this bridge had the longest simple riveted-truss span ever built at 643'10.5". The current structure was built in a 1919 rebuild of the 1870 structure which used most of the old piers. The 644 foot span crossed where two spans had been before and the unused pier was removed. Pennsylvania Rail Road became the owner later and the current owner is Louisville and Indiana Railroad who purchased it from Conrail in 1994. It is built for and has carried double tracks but currently only has one track. It stands 106.7 feet above river pool stage.

Hi Guys:

Yup - lotsa good photos there but I can't do much with them as my pop-up-blocker keeps kicking in (and no - I'm not going to turn it off) and besides I figure if I'm going to make it - you can do the research.

Be glad to make this bridge. I've made bridges bigger then this so size isn't a problem. I see at least 3 different types of spans (thru truss, deck truss, and deck plate girder). Need photos and info on them (and any more that may be there) plus the other info listed in my previous post.

Be an interesting project (and I haven't made a bridge in a while so I have the "itch", lol).

I managed a work-around and got those photos but I still need the info listed above.

Also: This seems to have a moveable span in it. I need info on it too.

Finally it looks like there is a dam in some of the photos - if so is it part of the bridge structure?
