Another NRM annex?

Saw this article on the BBC News website:

In my opinion they realy don't need to be spending money on another annex, they wouldn't have anough stored locos to fill it. Anyway, they need to restore poor old D200 first, even BR would be shocked at her current condition: (sorry about the poor picture quality)

As far as preservation work goes, if D200 stays under cover as it is in this picture, then it is protected from any further rapid deterioration. Even so, it doesn't appear to be in too bad condition as it is. I've worked on worse.It's the locos that are exposed to the elements that are a far bigger worry.
 
That is actually in not too bad of condition as far as preserved stuff goes. I say this because as pfx says, I have seen much worse than that. Even if there isn't enough to fill a new annex, at least all of the equipment will be under a roof.
