An overlay mapview in driver mode

Hello

is there an option to overlay a mapview when in driver mode to enable me to see where all the consists are on my route at anytime. I understand I can switch to mapview but I would like a way of seeing the mapview while in my driver session.

Not sure what distinction you are drawing here. In Driver you can access the map overlay by pressing "m". Access the same overview in Surveyor by pressing ctrl + m. You can re-scale the overlay with ease in both cases. You can also control what elements are displayed via the list available at upper left corner.
