Amtrak Superliner from TRS2006

hey all, i am trying to reskin a superliner car(one from HP-Trainz, Built in to TRS2006 and up)into CALI. Scheme and i was wondering how? I load up my editing program and then i cant find the files anywhere. does anyone know how to load the files? of even find them?

Well one i wouldn't ask how to reskin a specific car because its not what people want to be done with there work, but if you insist you open up cmp press edit in explorer on the train car you want to edit a folder should come up go into the body files and find the main tga(or whatever the name is for the main body) then right click and pick open with it should give you a list of programs just press the one with the editing software for example gimp, photoshop, paint.net, etc, etc...

ok, it comes up with sl_main and when i try to edit it just like you said, it says unknown file type. it is a texture file.

PEVsoft's Images to TGA

Search the forum for the above mentioned tool, and download it.

Then open it, click "file/open", then choose your "sl_main.texture".
It should open inside the window on the left side. Then right-click that image, and choose "edit", it will ask you what program to use. Pick your editing program, and you're off! Edit away, then click "save" (NOT "save as") and the original image (in Images to TGA) should update itself.

Once your done converting and editing the tga file you will need to add a txt file to read the tga file.

ok, got it sorry to be a pain you guys, but when i right click the image at the left and click edit, it never asks what program i would like to edit it in.
