AMTRAK PHASE IIIB!?

Kind of; it's the "Amtrak America" paint scheme. From my understanding, long distance trains will get painted into this new paint scheme; but shot-haul routes won't (most already have their own paint scheme anyways). However knowing Amtrak, this split won't last for that long & you'll have end up with a mix of paint schemes on trains. It's not the first time Amtrak has tried this idea.

P32AC-DMs are getting it, without the Amtrak America branding though

Not a fan of the black face they introduced with their heritage liveries. PhIV was the most handsome of the lot, imo.

I believe the black face is a nod to the SDP40Fs and F40s, according to a Youtube comment from someone who was on the team that came up with the heritage schemes.

That sounds awesome! but I think IIIB looks way better than III. Even though I would prefer Ib because phase I looks wicked
