Amtrak Hits Two Vehicles...

Ever see something like this? The Amtrak train from KC to St. Louis was in two different accidents along the same route on the same day.

Its just bad luck for the engineer and passengers... the fact is, he ignored the guard rails, it was totally his fault

This is a popular safety video created by TopGear, showing the sheer force involved when a train hits a car at a level crossing.

Just remember that this was only an engine, the Amtrak had many cars with people and luggage on it. The driver really is lucky to be alive...

I did pick up on that... and did you notice that she WASN'T WEARING A HIGH VIABILITY JACKET!! (Note that that joke will only make sense if you watched the video that i posted earlier in the forum...)

She's lucky that a Radioactive giant mutated genetically modified ferret did't fly into her!

Actually, what she said was that the conductor and several of the passengers were able to see the truck violate the crossing and get hit. I.e., there were witnesses to what happened.
