ai stopping

ok i think i found a thread on this yrs ago, but its 40+ degrees here and a few google seaches didnt find it.
when the train stops at the station, only the start of the cab or the last carriage is in the station. how to fix this?
thx

use the "load" / "unload" commands :)

thats the worst and most innacurate relpy ive seen on any forum ever. how will doing that make the train move forward or revese (after it loads and unloads automatically - you dont need unload or load at all)?

Actually, it's a good response to your problem. You need to use the Load, Unload, or Terminate Passenger Train command straight after a Navigate To or Drive To command.

I'm sure a thanks to eso would also be much appreciated by him before snapping next time. It will definitely work, but if you want to govern the stopping position more accurately, try using trackmarks named such as (Rochdale Northbound 3/5/7 car stop etc..) and a door control command. Hopefully that response will be accurate enough for ya :p

wow, ok...

I do sincerely apologise and I promise that next time I'll try harder to please you master.

Bomberswarm,

You are getting well on the way to getting yourself ignored on this forum.

You need to realise that users who try to help you know a lot more about Trainz than you seem to and at least try their suggestions before abusing them.

Damn, well I tried that method, and although the Load command remains on the command list, he does in fact drive up until all cars are in the station. I downloaded some stations from the DLS, they allow you to set which end of the station the trains should stop, but you can't change it for individual platforms. Will this thing work the same way?

You're very welcome for the assistance mate. So nice to see out efforts are so nicely rewarded, even with a simple thank you

Sorry, it was just so hot, too hot to try it out. Your help is always appreciated, thanks. Also I can't get cars driving on my roads.
Make sure you're not using the Default Region - it has no cars. :)

There's an option in Main Menu in Surveyor that allows you to change the region - I just can't remember it off hand.

Kieran.

its australia and no cars
Okay, if you're not using the default region, there's 3 other things to try:

1. Make sure you're not using No Cars roads. These don't generate traffic.
2. Try the Carz toggle in Surveyor.
3. Make sure you don't have -disablecarz=1 in the trainzoptions.txt file.

Kieran.
