Ai Driver Commands

For most new sessions I start by selecting the driver commands needed. As I tend to use the same commands each time is there a way of making them automatically load for all sessions rather than selecting them each time.
A related question - how do you use the driver schedule library command. Is there a guide anywhere, simply how do you add the driver commands to the rule.

You need the "schedule rule" and the "copy commands from" command. You add the rule in the edit session and open edit. Here you can add a schedule by giving it a name and putting in all the driver commands as you would do for a driver. The name could be Coal shunt, Branch pasenger or any other name that you think matches the job it will do. Close the window and select the driver set up and add the command copy from library use install or append and selet the name of the schedule. Install places the schedule into that position in the driver list while append adds it to the end if the list.

Hi Stagecoach
Thanks for the response, I will check out those commands when I next have chance. I've had a quick look and I think these look quite straight forward to use.

Within a route you can make sessions with the rules setup once. Just create a session and add the rules you use, even the schedule library. Save it and when you make a session for the route that you want to run start with this base session. Just be sure to save the new session with a new name.

A slightly different problem: on only one of my routes I am unable to edit the driver command list in Surveyor. Any attempt causes TRS2010 to crash. If I save under a new route and session name, the pox follows it. It used to work correctly. Something is probably corrupted somewhere, but where?

It sounds like a bad script in one of the driver commands. You can figure out which by trial and error, or perhaps by looking at all your rules in the CM window. One or more may be faulty, or at least faulty for the version you are running at the time.

Has the route got a driver command the others haven't, or a rule, for eg quick drive or custom hud.
For the pox I recommend seeing a pharmacist.

Is it possible for a rule or script to be bad in one session but not in others? I checked for faulty scripts and rules in CM and got nothing.
