AI Aircraft Question

New to Trainz 12. Finding AI aircraft interesting. Using track green invisible in driver for takeoff. Using track blue invisible in driver for landing. And using Marsz invisible black for user placed track. Place green line first. Connect with black line and make track go around and connect to blue line for landing.
What makes AI start and depart? Are the blue triggers required somewhere? Appreciate any suggestions

If you have already made a Session for AI Trains then you do the same type of session for the Planes.

If you download my "Lukla" route and the Session for it you can go into the "Edit Session " and see how it is made up.

Thank you for the reply. I have no idea how to make a session. Had no idea what to look for. Will look on page 190 of manual.
Thank you so much.

Downloaded your "Lukla" this morning. Highly impressive. Looked at the edit session in Surveyor and saw many of *MY* mistakes.
Only question I have: When I open your Lukla and go to edit; you have a Track Mark (red) and a Track Direction (yellow) found in Track -
Add Object. I typed both names in my search window but items not found. Tried Content Manager download but no luck. Where can I find these 2 items? Thanks

Those two Track Markers are built in, and are found in Surveyor right side of screen open the one for tracks then the drop down list with 3 buttons First is for "Tracks", middle one is for "trackside objects", third one is the "track marks" has a red triangle, click it and it drops down and has 4 objects on it, first on is "track mark red", Next is "trigger Mark green T" next one down is "direction mark" yellow, next down is "Priority Mark" mauve.

The Triangle Markers when placed on the track can be reversed if needed.
The Yellow Marker indicates direction of travel and are used to stop trains travelling the wrong way, the point of the triangle stops it. don't worry about the Priority marker at the moment it is for scripting in sessions.
I hope this helps you understand how they are used.

Just a few Tips (suggestions) for laying invisible, tracks in the air for planes.
Lay "ALL" the tracks for the circuit you want at ground level (you can adjust their height later) then add any Track or direction Markers where needed. Remember to name the track markers, in the air I call them "Way points".
By the way I name the way points and number them from 01 consecutively .
also include any invisible speed signs or signals. Now you can raise the height of each track spline too whatever height you need.

WARNING "Don't" (that means NEVER) use the track smooth tool on the invisible track in the air, it will raise the ground UP to the track,( don't Laugh it can and does happen).
