After a long absence, I have returned to the world of Trainz

"Old hands" may remember me from my earlier years running TRS2004 and 2006, and how I disappeared as other pursuits took priority, but now I am back with a fresh start running Trainz: A New Era. Reviews of this latest version of Trainz have been mixed, but I for one like what I see very much, as I've seen how far this game has come from the days of SP3 and TRS2004, it is built on very strong foundations, and although there are teething troubles with the new release, I still think Trainz has a bright future ahead of it.

Well good for you and welcome back Kaleb.

Ages back on the threads and I think even before the big collapse of them ages ago, I said I had found Trainz by chance. It was not long before I realised that a non-techy like me could build a route and that was me hooked. Started with TR04 then 6, 10 and now 12 (although I have T:Ane on reserve!). My present projects are on 12 anyway good you are here.

Welcome back,

I started in Nov 2014 with Trainz Driver2, and after much frustration, great help from Gurus like Dave Snow, Infrared Bob, I conquered the beast and decided I wanted to try PC side of Trainz, 2015, and Voila I bought TS12, very happy with it, and continually learning something every day I work on my Routes.
