Made a consist with the Blue Comet Loco and cars this morning and placed it on one of my favorite routes, the Florida East Coast. It is fantastic. The dining car with the table setups, baggage car, etc, it looks great both inside and outside. As to the comment about the engine sounds, and having grown up riding steam trains in New York for years , and spending many summers directly next to a steam line that ran though Troy New York, the engine sounds are pretty realistic to me, and sound the same as they did in real life. I do not detect any change in sounds versus speed that sound abnormal. If you like old trains or steam trains, this is a must buy even at the full price. For $4.95, it's a no brainer. I am using my Raildriver to control the train incidentally, in DCC mode.
