Advice needed to chose Australian sourced desktop for Trainz

I need to upgrade from my Acer nitro 5 laptop to a desktop Pc before prices skyrocket due to the trade war. I preferably want to buy a pre built, upgradable unit that will run trainz nicely, I do not ever anticipate going to use 4k, gaming . it will only be for used for trainz.
it also needs to be able to connect two screens and have the ability to take two or three ssd internal drives , options to add extra RAM would be nice.
I know there are many combinations of gear for PCs and that is what is putting me off buying a new one. its simply confusing as to which is the best long term buy.
I want to spend around $2500 tops and get a unit that will last me at least 5 years. even a recommendation as to Australian companies building pcs would be a help as online reviews always bring up a slew of negative reviews which are off putting.
I'm based in Adelaide and would prefer to use a local company if possible.

https://www.dell.com/en-au/outlet/shop?refinement=27 refurbished but reasonable performance for the price. A5680 tower. 32 gigs of memory, 2 TB nmve ssd, NVIDIA RTX A2000 12GB which has a 3d score of 13,700. They do go quite quickly and will vary from day to day.

Cheerio John
Thanks John, but I'm avoiding buying directly from any corporations at the moment, i know i cant avoid US components, but I want to buy something that's been assembled here , I've had an atrocious experience with Apple recently (which means i will NEVER buy any of their products new ever again ) . So corporate behemoths can go jump in the lake as far as i am concerned. :-)

There are a lot of great systems around the $2500 mark
Centrecom has https://www.centrecom.com.au/centre...kf-rtx-4070-gaming-pc-with-windows-11-license
or from Scorptec https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/ready-to-run-pcs/gaming-pc/117606-r2r10429 AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6 Core, AMD B650 Chipset, ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 12GB, 32GB 6000MHz RAM, 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD, Montech Air 100 ARGB Case, 850W PSU, WiFi, Win 11 Home

These are the only 3 stores that I source parts from and all have given me great service through many years. They are all located in Melbourne but will ship to South Australia. All stores have a range of prebuilt options, but anything over $1900 should easily last you for 5 years. It would probably be worth checking the mainboard of each PC for available M.2 and SATA ports. Most would have 2x M.2 and 3 or 4 SATA ports. All prebuilt PCs will be upgradeable should the need arise.
Centrecom has a store at 211 Pulteney St, Adelaide, SA, 5000

I have gone through all of the Centrecom PCs at $2499 and personally, I would choose a PC with either the Core Ultra 7 (Minataur) as it has the latest model 15th generation processor, (updated core i7) or the Core i9 (Nereus) which will provide huge CPU performance. Both have 32gb 6000 mhz DDR5 RAM and are coupled to a GeForce RTX4070 12gb GPU. 32gb 6000mhz RAM should be sufficient for most Trainz purposes apart from ultra large merges, but they also have spare RAM slots should you need to increase that in the future.
(There you go, that's the computer salesman/tech coming out in me.)

they do have a local outlet, as i'm loath to buy interstate, having heard a lot of stories about companies selling items as 'in stock " and then having long waits. I have looked at so many options the past day or so they are coming out of my ears but i'll have another look at their site and see if i can find a unit that hits the sweet spot and which I can pick up in adelaide. The Minataur seems like its a good option, I checked out the Palit 4070 12gb unit online and it seems to be ok, I am going to try and get a 4070 as it seems that much more future proof than the 4060 options. Thanks for your help. much appreciated

You could check out umart.com.au

Have used them to buy a significant amount of PC components over the past 3 yrs, always had a good experience with, prompt delivery and generally very good prices.

Make a list of every component you need and check their pricing.

I've bought suspiciously cheap enterprise hard drives from there and i am pretty sure some were second hand , so a bit inclined to avoid them , I can pick up from centrecom in Adelaide , or get same day delivery for $14.as well as get $88 off the price by using a voucher., so Ive decided to get the unit Grazlash mentioned as its the best deal I can see that is local at the moment.
