adding whistle ?

I have a caboose from the dl station and wish to add a whistle to it. The caboose has a rear platform view. It would be nice to have a whistle..just activated by the h key...for my long backup move..prototipical (isnt it?) So i found this whistle sound file on the dls and paste it in the config file of the caboose. no go yet. How do I make this work? thank you

I think you have to convert the caboose to a loco so you can add the hornsound kuid. Just a guess but you could try it.

getting closer!

So after comparing config files and trial and error I have the horn working in surveyor. But it does not work on route. Any ideas? thank you
