Adding to Global Consist Library in Driver

Is there a way to add a consist that exists in my session to the Global Consist Library, from within Driver?

I understand how to add consists to the library from the interface under Main menu->Options...->Global consist library. But this requires you to assemble the consist from individual car names.

I'm attempting to run continuous operations, and experimenting with which cars to use on the route. It's hard to know what a car is going to do or look like until you get it to the appropriate industry in Driver. When I find something that works well, I'd like to be able to add it to my consist list in the library.

The best thing that I can come up with, is to save the session, edit it in surveyor and use the consist picker to add it to the Surveyor consist list. I'd like to be able to do all this without leaving Driver.

Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Hello again azathoth92

Your question is:
''Is there a way to add a consist that exists in my session to the Global Consist Library, from within Driver?''

From thread Sessions: some help...
In point 2 use steps from 2.5 to the end. Now you will have your train in 'Train modeC' and you can see him in 'Global consist library' when you open 'Quick portal manager' (look point 3 QPMR too). In QPM you must confirm consists by > on 'Refresh global consist..'
Then use point 4a 'Quick drive' for adding your train(s) on the track, when you are in the driver mode.

I hope that this will help

regards
