Adding names to Trains produced by Portals.

Hi , I am asking whether anyone as worked out our to add names to train consists that are generated from Portals, so that they show up in Driver.??
I understand in surveyor you can change names on lead loco , but that's on consist already on the layout.

Hi Phil,

I've never named the trains, but I have renamed the drivers. If the driver is named Louise, for example, I'll put - P after her name so I know that Louise from the portal is driving. This helps quite a bit so I can keep track of who is messing things up. The alternative is to use some really different drivers for the portals so you can keep the crew separate from the other drivers.

By Using PGuys Portal Manager along with is HUD you can name the Trains while they are in the portal and the train name will show in the HUD when it is in the game, dosn't mater who the driver is.

If you research PGuys stuff more you will find you can name trains in driver while using Quick Session Vars, Its all doable just very tricky, if you want it bad enough you will sort it.
