Adding/Changing assets on locos

I have downloaded Stetrain's 0-4-0 Undecorated, kuid2:8610:1000:2, but it has no enginesound(It doesn't chuff). I have tried adding a steam engine sound in CCP. The sound is in the config. file, but it still doesn't make a sound. I have managed to change the whistle and bell though. I jut want the sounds for personal use, I have absolutely no intention whatsoever to upload it to the DLS.

Any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong/missing would be greatly appreciated.

Check the config file for the main bogey, it should have a tag; directdrive 1
If you don't have a directdrive tag or if you have it and it's set to 0 (zero) there will be no chuff sound.

There is no tag directdrive 1 in the config. file. I will compare it to another config. file to find out where to add the tag.

Thanks for the information. I added the directdrive and the value to the config. file, and it makes sound now. :Y: :clap:
