Adding an odometer to routes

I am currently using TRAINZ 2006, and would like to add an odometer to the route I am (re-)building. I see that in the Marias Pass Route, there is an odometer that shows on the "session" trains when you run them. How can I add this to my "Liberty Route" trains so it works in Driver Mode?

Appreciate it!! Thanks for the "heads-up". Now I can figure out how long the "longest runs" are....... Can I get this on DLS?

Should be built-in. In Surveyor, click on the Edit Session button in the upper left corner of the screen. In the newly opened window, select Add. this should open a small window with the Rules listed. Select the one you want and then click on the check marks to close both windows. Save your session. Now when you go to Driver, the custon HUD should be on your screen.
