Connyxy had some Acela stuff but its unavailable. And what little is left is on the DLS.

There's a nice Acela Power car and business class coach on the DLS. Its for UTC but runs fine and looks pretty good for TS 2010.

It seems very odd

I’m very suprized that there is so little stuff made for the Acela, as it looks like a fine train, I would have thought that the DLS would have tons of stuff for this train?
Was there something wrong with it in the real world?
Is there a reason that it's not very popular?

It seems no mater how much I search their is no good acela class anywhere or atleast none that load passengers no one seems to want to update or make a new one.
Its a shame besause it is a sleek looking train.I had updated one in 09 doors opened passengers got on.
but I cannot find what folder its in in 09 to try to import it to 12.

The reason of no new acela is that in modelling part is very hard to take the shape as rhe real Acela. And tolaris Acela was a conversion of his model from MSTS. I will give a try to make it. I tried to do the Rhinnos, look on the 3dsmax,Gmax thread,(. But as i have said, the front nose and the other parts are way harder than any other standard US passenger rolling stock. And the Acela made by tolaris is still looking good and its very useful. And for the folder, just go to CMP, open for edit the Acela asset's and change the trainz build up to TS12 (you can find the folder opening it in CMP pressing CTRL + SHIFT + E or going to your Trainz root folder and searching on the folder "editing" with the assets openedfor edit in CMP) And then wait to fix errors
