Based on some of the UK car crash videos, I tend to believe that, and likewise with Australian ones too.

In the US most people drive backwards, don't use turn signals (out of blinker fluid my guess), ride the brakes, ride the clutch, run red lights, drive drunk/high, refuse to ask for directions, reverse on exit ramps, cross three lanes of traffic, speed through construction zones. People are just stupid, and learn nothing.
You do know that using turn signals, stopping at red lights, pausing at yields, and stopping at stop signs is optional and in some locations a violation of their amendment rights (choose one and or make one up).

You forgot that they ALWAYS drive with their headlights on freaking BRIGHT, and never turn on their lights at dusk or when it's raining.

Can confirm as a statesman myself. Hoorah for big tangerine, hoorah for not being able to drive. All that was satire. Hoorah for FM Trainmasters though.

They also tailgate too or drive in a spot so that their headlights hit every mirror and reflect back into the car.

The historical reasons for Britain driving on the left side of the road are rooted in safety and tradition. The custom dates back to the Roman Empire, where it was common for horseback riders to keep to the left to allow their dominant hand to be ready to draw a sword if necessary. This practice was officially sanctioned in 1300 AD when Pope Boniface VIII declared that all pilgrims traveling to Rome should keep to the left. The shift to right-hand traffic in much of Europe can be credited to Napoleon, who imposed mandatory right-hand traffic in the territories he conquered, partly to break away from aristocratic traditions associated with left-hand travel. However, Britain had no reason to switch sides, and the UK stuck with its long-standing left-side tradition while most of Europe moved to the right. They can move along either side of the road, left or right, because they are not driving, they're travelling. License, registration, & insurance, please??? Don't need any of that poop either, because I'm not doing any commers...
I have a quite little chuckle when I see these clowns on "YouTube" getting dragged out of their cars, put in handcuffs & taken off to jail. Makes my day, everytime...
