Abandoned assets?

flyboy559

Using Trainz since 2003
So today I downloaded a route that requires the following 3 assets:
Unknown Location: cp1_3D1_Pg_SLD_EL4_2-1561
Unknown Location: cp1_3D1_Pg_SLD_K4_3-1830
Unknown Location: cp1_3D1_Pg_SLD_KR3_7-1763
A quick search on the KUID index revealed that these assets have been abandoned and that they were also taken off of the DLS. Is there anywhere else where I can find these? Googling the KUID also came up with nothing for me.

Two things: First, you have not provided KUID numbers for the assets. Second, it might be helpful for you to identify the route your trying to find dependencies for.

They look like illegal clones of profig's speedtree 5 work. If you're running TANE they wouldn't work anyway. You'd need to replace them.

mjolnir, I thought I put the numbers in but it was late and I was tired and forgot apparently.
John, Im running TS12 so I will replace them with profigs trees.

These are Pofig's trees using the same name:

3D1_Pg_SLD_EL4_2-1561,<kuid:429786:100093>
3D1_Pg_SLD_KR3_7-1763,<kuid:429786:1379>
3D1_Pg_SLD_K4_3-1830,<kuid:429786:1243>

The CP1_ ones are illegal clones and were deleted by up-versioning them to blank assets called fenfe-something. They were part of a way to remove some illegal Pofig clones. I reported this back last year to the helpdesk and nothing was done about it, but then again I suppose it wasn't a bad thing. One of the others was by drackonchikcus212.

Here's part of the ticket I posted up on the help desk.

Here's another one to check also by <kuid2:163552:101347:1> Snd_EK_Db1_3-2379 drakonchikcus212. This one is definitely on the DLS as it shows up available to download in T:ANE, though it won't work due to being the older Speed Tree mesh.

The Fenfe assets are used obsolete these to blanks.

They may have been rip-offs from Pofig which were removed. Instead of just obsoleting them with a proper tree, they were blanked out. I noticed that the Fenfe assets and EMPTY!DELETE! (I typo'ed the title above), are used to delete assets from the DLS by obsoleting them it seems.
