A Question About....

I`m guessing that by stopping after 12 cars you mean that the industry runs out and has to wait til it has more to continue. I`m using the coal mine installed in trs2006 to load a coal train of 50 cars and all I did was go into properties and set the production rate high enough to keep up. It means that the coal mine is pretty much full to capacity most of the time but it allows me to run the length of train I want. I just multiplied to cars capacity by the number of cars divided by how many minutes it takes to fill 50 cars to get how much coal is going out in 1 minute while filling. For the time I just timed how long 10 cars took to go through multiplied by 5. Takes a bit of time but its worth it. The only problem I had was I had to use a MIN track to unload at the power station because the train was carrying more than the power stations max capacity and therefore wouldn`t unload completely.

Continuous loading. I'm looking for an industry that say loads coal for 50 or more empty cars without stopping at 12 cars and then having to wait a bit to start reloading cars. Is there such an industry? Thanks...Alco_P-A

I am loading and unloading 120 coal hoppers with the following assets:
Coal Tipple TRS New,<kuid2:60238:26173:1> for loading.
I have set the properties of the tipple at Rate= 829998 and the Start Amt at 1357500.
Powerstation,<kuid:-3:10026> for unloading.
On this I have set the properties at Rate= 750000 and the Start Amt at 1000.
I am using the following coal hopper:
UP BethGon II (Industry Weathered),<kuid2:76096:15606:1> which holds around 69274 units.
I guess I did some trial and error checking on different settings for the amounts to enter, but this works for me to load and unload the 120 cars..Like said in the earlier reply you have to use the hopper load amount and figure how much you need for the Rate etc. Hope this helps....Cheers....
