Im setting up a small scenario where I have a junction with 3 routes of road traffic plus one for a narrow gauge track. The roads run north, south and east. So far I understand how to arrange this. All 3 routes will be running at same time unless the train comes out of the yard.
The train route is as follows. It leaves the yard - crosses the southbound route and follows the road north for a few yards where it then crosses the eastbound road heading north. The train will return by reverse route.
How do I link the train route into the road system so that I get the following:-
Phase 1: road traffic 1+2+3 (this bit I understand)
Phase 2: train - heads north, stops traffic.
Phase 3: train - heads south, stops traffic.
Not sure if I need a forth phase in between 2 & 3 to restart road traffic while train is up north.
My problem is that I do not know how to link the rail signals in with the road signals. I presume I dont use the tram signals.
