A Guide for NexusDJ's OHLE Kit?

Hey everyone (again)

First of all I apologise because I know I ask a lot of questions - and most of the time the responses I get are helpful so here is another question:

So I want to include OHLE on my route because I like the current/modern era. There are SO many options available, from going with a simple spline to something more elaborate like the entire system by NexusDJ. I want to create as realistic a system as TRS19 can permit and I think the kit by NexusDJ is the easiest/only(?) option to do that successfully however as someone who doesn't know the entire workings of OHLE I don't know when half of these pieces should be used.

Out of interest, is there some kind of guide available anywhere that would explain what each of the pieces are and when they should be used etc.?

Thanks

Thanks for asking this brilliant question. Literally just been wondering how to place OHLE myself.

Cheers PFX for the links. I'll have a look some time.

Although those links aren't exhaustive, they do cover some of the trickier items such as the start and termination of wires within a section, distances between these, maximum distances between pylons, and so on. It certainly helped me.

Cheers,

Hi PFX,

That's exactly the kind of stuff which at the moment makes my head go funny. Hopefully with these links I can stop having to stick to just using live rails to power the trains.

Regards.
