A couple of questions

Is their a "minimize" button or command in Surveyor?

When I'm editing and want to jump out to look at a tutorial, I have to exit out to do it. Is there a better way?

Selecting objects is very difficult. They are not listed by what they are but by some given name. For example, if I want to look at all the available bridges. I type in bridge and get nothing. It seems you have to type the specific name such as "concrete bridge" or "oak tree", etc., instead of just bridge or tree or road. Not very good.

Is there another way to do this? Or is there a way for me to print out a list of what's available?

Must be a better way.

Thanks,

Roy

As to the first one, if you have a microsoft keyboard, hitting the Start key should take you to the desktop.

Roy.

Or you can hold down ALt + Tab. I just figured that out!:D

That only works if there is another window already open, it won't take you to the desktop.

Any time I want to swap back and forth between Trainz and another application I run Trainz windowed. It only takes seconds to make the change. Opening Screen > Options > Display Settings > Uncheck 'Full Screen' AND Select a resolution from the drop-down list. When windowed Trainz has the normal top-corner options to Minimize, Restore or Close...

Andy :)

Or... Hit the Window/Start Menu key on the keyboard. The one that gets in the way when hitting alt and control at the inappropriate times, usually.

This will bring up the Start Menu and show the desktop. You can then open up whatever program you want.

Trainz has a Content Search Filter in Surveyor. It can be accessed by pressing "Ctrl+F".

The Microsoft Start button worked for me. Thanks.

The Ctrl+F only brings up scenery that is already in your route.

I want the same function that will bring up scenery, so I can select what I want to place in my route.

How do I do this?

Sorry, I was going off the top of my head before. It was actually Ctrl+Shift+F. I was just in the game, and found that I was wrong.

Hope that answers your question now.
