Like many others who don't have TC3 I've been unable to make the S&C 8F on my Trainz work due to missing KUIDs. As far as I know there's no way to fix this without buying TC3, so unless a solution has been discovered recently then I don't propose to reopen that can of worms.

I was however wondering if anyone knows of any other 8Fs available as freeware?

Sorry to disappoint you but as far as I am aware there are only payware 8Fs available - the SnC add on, GPLocomotives http://gplocomotives.com/Stanier-8F-2-8-0's.php and Paulz Trainz http://www.paulztrainz.myenet.info/inside/N_LMS8F.htm

I have quite a number of locos from GPLocomotives and the quality of them is superb especially considering the price of £3.00 per loco. The ones from the SnC which I also have are also excellent but I can't comment on the one from Paulz Trainz as I haven't got that.

I have Paulztrainz 8F and the quality is good, but the 8F in SnC takies some beating. With SnC you also get a number of locos the quality of which is second to none. SnC is in my opinion is the best value for money ever.
