Hello All. I'm In the process of making a 3 ft gauge route for Trainz but have had trouble finding a few assets. Does anyone know where i can find some?

-3 ft Crossing Boards
-Wig Wag crossing
- 1880s-1950s buildings
- 3 ft gauge steam locomotives

You may have to look for metric gauge assets including locomotives.

Meter gauge is a close substitute for 3ft gauge. The alternative is to actually find 914 mm.

There are plenty of 1880s - 1950s buildings Colorado71 made a whole bunch of low poly western style buildings based actual buildings from Colorado, and other places in the west. Check the DLS. Bob Pearson, I think (rpearson)made some also that are really nice. For the later periods, check out buildings by Dave Drake (dmdrake), and many others. If you want to go off the DLS, Approach Medium has a ton of buildings that will work right through the era.

There are some wigwag crossings on the DLS.

Check the DLS for locomotives. There are a number there and definitely check Trainz Forge.

Try Ben Neal (bdaneal) for steam locomotives of the non-D&RGW sort. Ben's older stuff can be found at: https://steammachine.com/bdaneal/index.htm
Unfortunately there isn't a strict naming standard for narrow gauge assets, but do try both "NG3" and "NG36" (being careful with the latter to separate the 3'6" gauge assets from the 36" gauge assets).

Here's a good site for some good quality 3ft (36in) NG stuff.

https://trainz-forge.com/ - NG36 Steam - NG36 Diesel - NG36 Freight - NG36 Passenger

Over the years, I have downloaded a truck load of 3ft (NG36) loco's & rolling stock. Last count 300+ steam loco's & 40+ diesel's. (Rolling stock would be atleast 100+). Downloaded from DLS & Third Party Sites. 98% work in Tane, TS2019 & TS2022.
My interest in 3ft gauged started way back in 2006 when Murchison 2 came out with both SG & 3ft guage track.

Note; Some of these loco's (& rolling stock) are the same, with different running number's...

Cheers, Mac...

Togog on the DLS has made a ton of narrow gauge steam locomotives; almost every class on the Rio Grande from pretty much every era they operated save the modern day, and some from the WP&Y, DSP&P, and various others too. TheBroughamGamer is currently at work on engines from the EBT. Trainboi1 has made a huge amount of C&S rolling stock, including their Cooke Moguls and Consolidations, that are available at trainz-forge.com, along with very high-quality track splines. Dangavel has made a lovely catalog of building assets on his narrow gauge routes that I love scrolling through to find inspiration for my own route.
