Just bought this game and i was wondering what is the best settings for this game to look its best? Also how do you change the camera views to take good screen shots?

The settings will depend on how good or bad your comp is, no 2 are the same.
For screen shots try the tracking camera, top 3rd right (looks like a camera on a tripod), or free roaming (4 th one ).

In the menu you can also "Hide Junction overlays". That helps a lot for a decent screenshot.
Pressing F5 removes all menu's.

Ok thanks how do you add a Jointedrail unit or make a train in trainz?

I guess you mean driving in a self-made train.
If so:
Go to the route you want, go to the session list, click "create session", go to the bottom tab on the right side of your screen, select whatever you like and put it on track, save the session, run the session.
If not: Please refrase your question.

No clue, but if it is an exe, I guess it is a self unpacking zip. After that, you probably get something you can install in content manager.

Launch TS12. You will get a start-up menu with 8 options. The 2nd on the left is "options" and you got a bunch of settings in there you probably like.
Also in game you can go to Main Menu, options and then play with the video settings.
