2010 Advice Please

I've taken up the challenge of 2010, which has proved to be rather a pain. I have successfully copied over my complicated 2006 layout (except for some items - those something trees!), mostly it is just a lot of work replacing stuff, but I have a couple of questions please:

Trains that I had set to run automatically and were fine in 2006, don't run in 2010. I have checked in driver set up and they are all there with the previous instructions. The necessary track marks are all in place. In 2006, when you right clicked any of these trains, you could stop/ start /pause / resume the auto sequence. This right click also does not seem to work in 2010 ?

To be able to use all the content available for surveyor, you have to stop the 5 star default in the settings. Is there a way to keep the settings as you want them without having to change this each time you "build" ?

To get a direct RBM contextual menu in Trainz [after TRS2004] you need to have typed

-allownoctrlrightclick

on your trainzoptions.txt file.
If not, you'll need to CTRL + Right Click

As far as I know T10 keeps and saves the last setting you decided for favourites. The next time you open T10, that setting is the one to appear. That's what has always happened to me.

Driver set-up autotrain 2010 problems

Hi There

Sorry to trouble you again. Thanks for the advice. Where do I find the trainsoptions.txt file?

The Control right click works ok on the only train that does appear on the driver side. All the others [8] look fine in surveyor driver setup, but don't show on left hand corner when you go over to the the drivers side.

C right clicking on any of these locos to reset, only gives 'details' and not the drive characteristics for you to choose from?

Did you try running in compatibility mode? I think 2010 starts in Native mode by default.
