2006 layout to 2010 compatability?

Hi Helpfuls.......

Not that I particularly want to, but I suppose I need to keep up with the times and upgrade to 2010. Will my 2006 layout (quite complicated) transpose to 2010, or will the hard work of a couple of years be wasted?

Is it just copies of the 'local' and 'asset (tdx?)' files that I need to copy to 2010 or is it much more complcated?

Make a cdp of the route, save it to desktop then using 2010CM import it. The track will change and if you've locos etc some may not show as they are faulty .
