2006 + Classics 3

A favourite loco of mine is the Britannia class. I use 2006 very seccessfully and have 2004 + UTC. To have Britannia, can I only get it within classics 3 and if I buy it, does it interact with 2006 or is a separate section?

TC3 is a completely separate program and you can have it and TRS2006 installed at the same time. You can also move your existing content to TC3 and use it as your only Trainz program. Unfortunately though existing locos will need edited engine specs to work properly in TC3, or you can change the older locos to use one of the built in specs.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll stick to 2006 as it works great and I've got 2 very complicated layouts, which are months of work (safely backed up). Brit will have to wait, unless someone knows a good private one I can buy?
