2 questions about surveyor in 2009

No, just computer limitation.
The base board is 780 m or so. Use a ruler and run off 5280 feet. count the baseboards and multiply by 10. It will be close to 21 boards I think as a baseboard is close to 2400 feet in every direction.

You, are the only limits....!

 Hello Bluerall, your only limited by your wishes...

Your using the route creation features...gee...

We also have maps made using the TOPO graphic stuff...

I have a DEM route that has over a thousand baseboards....I so awaited this years ago & wished for a program that would load a map from a real-world district & help me create a real-time world to run the wheels off Trainz...........!

I used a demo version to get acquainted & completely destroyed the route, knowing it would re-assemble when I re-opened it. You could not "save" on that one...

Whether you create a Fictional Route, or study to add to the World Creation of real routes, you are so welcome here!

For real, take a default route, for me it is "City & Country" to perfect the route & you would not believe how handy & user friendly you can make these routes! Round-out the curves, straighten the straight track, add industry, make the current industries upgraded to modern, etc.

Get to know what works as well as what's disappointing.

Take your time to Learn!

Hi,

Unless Auran have changed the size of the baseboards in the TC or TS2009 (which I very much doubt they have) each baseboard is 720 x 720 meter.

Why it is so, I don't know.

Best wishes

Linda

that would be 2361 x 2361 feet.
10 miles would be about 23 base boards? But then you might want it mote than one base board wide.
