2 lane to to 4 lane highway objects?

I've been searching for a couple of days and am having a hard time finding an object that will take a 4 lane highway and narrow it down to a 2 lane highway. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been using BNSF50's beautiful highway splines and would like to find something that sort of matches though at this poing anything would look better than having the 4 lane merge with the 2 lane.

Look on the DLS for Boulevard to Lane. There's a Scenery object (not a spline0 that does this. It doesn't match those wonderful roads, which is too bad, it does work. BNSF50 did make some Road Intersection objects. I'm not sure if there's one to go from 4 to 2 lanes in there.

Alternatively, like I used to, you can disguise the hideous part with a clump of trees or behind a building.

From the FWIW department:

One creator simply butted the 2-lane to the 4-lane , placed some barricades and construction items where the difference in width occurs . Made a very interesting , "We are widening the road , drive with caution !" scene .

I thought this was a clever idea , giving the difference in widths a prototypical explaination .

Search under user Maddy25, she has excellent roads and "adapters" that do what you want.

I'll look for the adapters that Maddy25 produces and see how those work. I used the one boulevard to lane connector and still added trees to the area as it didn't match well but the flow of vehicles from the 2 lane to the 4 lane road were still uninterrupted.

I do like the idea of a highway construction scene as well. Thanks for all of the innovative ideas. I find myself getting a little too wrapped up in creating the perfect recreation of my former hometown and need to remember a great motto from a master model railroader I have the pleasure of knowing. "It's my railroad and I will do what I want..."

Didn't really think about the traffic problem , I am certain you will see them crashing through the barricades , ahh , but even more prototypical !
I am sure you will find a suitable solution , one of the fun things in creating ?
