I was sitting here playing around with my very own version of TRS 2006 when I had a thought: laying catenary that is separate from the track is difficult, so why not build it into the track? I am not sure if two parts of track can have different repeat lengths, but I have seen on some bridges...
Hi all. This may sound kind of stupid, but I am trying to find a certain boxcab electric that was green and yellow. The problem is I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called. I've tried searching the DLS with many different search terms but it has not yet come up. Any of you have an...
Though this may seem a little off topic, I just got back from the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I unfortunately didn't get any pictures (forgot the *^&# camera at home). I must say that if you are in the area it is definitely something to check out. They've got a Big Boy, a...
Just a somewhat random thought on my part. Has anyone ever had the idea to create circus wagon flat car loads like what used to be used here in the US? Like the calliope wagon, animal cage wagons, band wagons, utility wagons, etc?
I can't seem to reach it here in the US and keep getting a page load error. Is anyone else currently having this problem?
--EDIT--Working here now. Was down for a while. Seems to have been a temporary glitch.
Can a person have an AI driving the head-end locomotives of a train while they drive the tail-end helpers, or do AI's always have to control every locomotive on a train?
Is it possible/has anyone ever thought of making an "industry" type thing that when a steam locomotive rolled onto it the running animations would be activated somehow? I mean the "rolling roads" used to test steam locomotives in the shop rather than on the road.
Hello all, I'm looking for a certain electric locomotive. It was basically a freight tram using a single wire trolley pole.
My hard drive crashed a while ago and though I had stuff backed up, I had downloaded this very recently so it wasn't in the backup and I can't seem to figure out where I...
Just a question...
Has any content creator ever had the idea to make tunnels that looked like a mine and a transfer table that worked like Vulcan's helicopter lifts to be an elevator? Does anyone think this is even practical?
Has anyone made track that has built-in catenary at the height for US locomotives? I know there are some tracks with built-in catenary, but it's too low for the MR EF1's that are included with TRS2006 (or any other American electric locomotive for that matter).
Whatever happened to Tume's project? I know he was working on a bunch of MR stuff, but I haven't heard any updates in a long time:confused:... Does anyone know what's up and if he's still working on it?
Over 2 weeks ago, I sent the following e-mail to you:
Hello
Just sending an e-mail to ask you if I may repaint your Heavy Mountain Locomotive available on the DLS and distribute it on the "iPortal Club" web site rather than the DLS. The reason I ask is that we are making our own...
Is there an easy way to make the cars in traffic move down to a lower altitude? I am using the YARN system of roads and it seems that no matter what traffic set I use, the cars are floating about 0.5 -1 meter above the road...
Has Anyone ever made fireless locomotives for trainz? You know, Locomotives made for factory use that run on either compressed air or steam from the factory's boiler?
